Receptionist

As the first point of contact for our parents and students, the role of school receptionist is key. Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative and communications tasks:
- Handling queries from students, parents and prospective parents
- Fielding telephone calls, dealing with in-coming/out-going mail and emails
- Monitoring student/staff absences
- Updating daily schedule changes online
- Updating databases/information
- Dealing with questions/requests from students
- Dealing with deliveries
- Handling a variety of administrative tasks
The successful applicant will be adept at multitasking and dealing with a variety of priorities. Preferably our new receptionist will have a good command of English, ideally multilingual with some local knowledge and an understanding of the challenges facing expats in the Netherlands. A good working knowledge of Dutch is an advantage. Strong administrative skills are required and applicants must have solid experience of working with a number of software packages including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Gmail, Google Docs, etc.
Above all, we are looking for someone with an international outlook, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility. We are a small team who work hard to deliver excellent education and support to our students and parents.
