DUTCH TEACHER (PART-TIME – 0.7 FTE)

The International School Breda (ISB) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support its dynamic primary team as soon as possible for approximately 5 – 6 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and caring professional to strengthen our dynamic teaching team. We are looking for a warm and caring colleague who has a natural gift for bringing out the best in children. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, imaginative, full of energy, adaptable and will thrive on challenges.

The successful candidate will:

have experience of working with children
be a team-player
have excellent communication skills
be a native or near-native English speaker
be eligible to work within the European Union
be able to assist our teaching team and support the children in the classroom from the outset

The following skills and experience would be an advantage:

a first-aid qualification and additional experience and/or qualifications in special needs, EAL and ICT skills.
IT-literate and knowledge of Google Classroom

The successful candidate will work in a team to provide care for our children within school hours and/or to work alongside and support the teacher of our Primary Classes. The hours will be spread over five weekdays.
