Secondary Dutch Language (acquisition) Teacher

Dutch Teacher (part-time – approx. 0.8-1.0 FTE)

The International School Breda (ISB) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working teacher of Dutch (with a focus on language acquisition) to cover a period of maternity leave from mid-November 2023 – May 2024 (with 0.2 FTE part-time work available thereafter).
Applicants must have teaching experience.  Experience of  teaching students aged between 11 – 18 is desirable; knowledge of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is preferable but not essential.

• A Dutch NT2 qualification is required
• Eligible to work in the EU

The successful candidate will:

• have experience of teaching ages 11-15
• have experience in teaching Dutch as an additional language

• have excellent communication skills
• be flexible and highly skilled at differentiating
• be committed to the mission and vision of the school
• give engaging, creative and challenging lessons
• be able to work in close cooperation with colleagues
• work with students in the Middle Years Programme
