The goal for the students was to complete a Drug Prevention Project.  For this they could design a poster, make a video or animation or make a presentation to prevent young people using drugs. They had to play the role of a youth worker who works with young people in community settings. They needed to educate young people who may be curious about drugs.  The target audience was young people in our school who may be at risk of trying drugs in their teenage years.

Situation:  In order to have a community and society that is a safe and attractive place for everyone to live, we need to ensure that people do not take drugs.  You want to raise awareness among young people about the effects of legal and illegal drug use on their physical health, on their families, on their communities and on society as a whole.
