Opening week

A sea of new faces

ISB is starting its second year as a new international school. The apparent rough edges of a new school have been smoothed over the last year. Take a walk around the school and one will notice the mud, fresh from construction of the building, has been replaced with grass and trees and even a few sunflowers sprouting from behind the toy shed.

But that is not the most tremendous growth to see at ISB. This year the school welcomed so many new families that enrollment more than doubled. Seats at the primary school lunch tables are filled. Seats in the secondary classrooms are at a premium.

Even a few new teachers have joined the ISB family to help build the school and see its vision through.

Cheers to a new year!
